VANNESS WE ARE NOT THAT RICH TO FLY OVER FOR A FAN SIGN OK.
Just went through Leehom’s mixtape.
Im just laughing at myself for knowing the songs that werent in my generation, like the Teresa Teng, Tsai Chin, Harlem songs I actually know fairly well.
Then theres the Amei, David and Jay song which I am fairly familiar with.
But then the two 2012 songs, I have no clue whatsoever. hahah
Feelings after watching his speech.
I dont even know how to begin. It seriously, bias aside, is such a strong and powerful speech about World Pop, about promoting chinese music more.
He added a fair amount of humour in it. which were seriously adorable. I dont know if they were planned but just super cute.
He made alot of college, childhood reference which is awesome. Because I dont think he’s ever talked about his college life that much. Talked about his roommates, how he got bullied when he was a kid for being chinese etc.
He talked about the difference bewteen Cpop to kpop. How cpop artists with only China alone would be content sorta thing. (which those antikpop cpoppers really need to watch and listen so they can stfu).
He analyses it all and shows you why, what, and how.
He talks about his ‘dislike’ for chinese music when he first went to Taiwan, and found it lame. lol But then his perspective all changed after attending his very first chinese concert, Harlem Yu. (wow) And he felt the connection of the fans with their idols.
Everything. The whole speech was just really amazing. The East meets West. The combination of East and West and so on. I just feel everyone should really really take some time out and watch it. It really is a super WOW speech.
